There are large camping pits available at this nice campground. each pit has electricity (4A).The sanitary is very well, showers and warm water are free. There is also a kitchen, a laundry machine, and a service station for chemical Toilets. There is a special field for small tents; every evening many cyclers arrive. There usually are many children at this campground, who enjoy themselves with; go-karts, large trampolines, play-ground equipment and small animals.In the farm there is table-tennis, table-soccer, pool-billiard and darts. Dogs are allowed at the camp.

This campground is next too the 'IJsselmeer' (lake); perfect for fishing and swimming; the water is shallow.Between June 15 and September 1st, windsurfing is allowed, otherwise you can windsurf and kitesurf at the surf beach at 'Kornwerderzand' or at Makkum beach. The beach near Makkum its only 5 km from Camping Sotterum. There is lots to see and do in the surrounding and there are many cycling tours. If you want to camp in high-season, it's best to make reservations, that's possible from 5 nights up. You'll find our rates here.You don't need to make reservations for a short stay with a small tent.
